BASF and Certis Europe test Amoéba’s biocontrol product
Lyon, 31 March 2020 - Amoéba increases the number of independent assessors of its biocontrol product to four with the signature of two new agreements with BASF and CERTIS Europe. The lysate of the amoeba Willaertia magna C2c Maky will undergo greenhouse and field testing. BASF will evaluate the performance of Amoéba’s biocontrol product in preventing fungal diseases on a range of crops. Certis Europe will undertake tests on downy mildew diseases on grapevines in three wine-producing countries: Italy, France and Germany. Once again, if the results are conclusive, these material transfer agreements could lead to commercial partnerships.
