Lyon, 23 November 2015 - Amoéba is happy to announce that it has been authorised by the Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) to start industrial tests of its biological biocide in Canada. This authorisation is awarded less than 6 months after Amoéba signed a letter of intent with the Canadian group Magnus, with the condition that market approval (MA) be obtained for Canada, as is expected for the end of 2017. These R&D tests will be conducted on 10 cooling towers (ACT) in Canadian industrial sites, and will complete and extend the tests ongoing since 2013 in France, where distribution is handled by Aquaprox. “This authorisation will allow Amoéba to validate the process for use of its biocide in line with North-American standards, with the collaboration of Canadian industrial users. The rapidity with which this authorisation was awarded, less than 6 months after Amoéba signed its letter of intent with the Magnus group, will contribute to the success of our deployment strategy for the American continent.” declares Fabrice PLASSON, President of Amoéba’s Board of Directors.
