Inauguration of Amoeba’s first production unit

Lyon, 6 October 2016 - Official opening of Amoeba’s production factory in Lyon-Chassieu on October 4th, 2016.  More than 150 guests attended the event among local politicians, investors, distributors, journalists, suppliers and employees. Jean-Jacques Selles, Mayor of Chassieu, David Kimelfeld, 1st Vice-President of Lyon Metropole in charge of Economy and Anne Pellet, Regional Councillor Representative, were present to cut the official ribbon and show their support for Amoéba, an innovation, 100% made in France.

The first European production unit comprises two bioreactors of 500 liters each for a production of BIOMEBA up to 100m3per year. The unit will cover the needs of the European distributors’ network of Amoeba. The company has already signed several LOIs pending Market Authorization planned for the end of 2016. “We are very pleased to unveil our first production unit which is fully operational to start production.
