Lyon, 1 September 2016 – Amoéba, member of the Association of Water Technologies, AWT, will take part in the AWT 2016 conference and exhibition. The company will present its biological biocide to the international market at this event renowned for its focus on industrial water treatment (booth #106).

For our second participation at AWT, Colin Frayne, expert on Legionella and water treatment in the United States, will present BIOMEBA biological biocide at the Cooling Water* Biofilms: Cause-and-Effect Problems, Conventional Treatments, and Practical Experience with a Natural Treatment” conference that will take place on Thursday, 8 September at 2.30 pm.

Colin Frayne assessed Amoéba for a period of 6 months, during which he spent time on the field, visited industrial sites to meet our end users and also held meetings with our distributors. Following his positive study and having been seduced by this innovative biological biocide, he has joined forces with us to promote BIOMEBA on North American soil.

Amoéba: a Largely Positive Context throughout North America

Amoéba actively pursues its development on the American continent. To start, it now has a pilot production in Montreal and has begun industrial R&D trials in Canada, in partnership with its Canadian distributor, Magnus. The company also signed letters of intent concerning the deployment of its environmental technology in five US states by Earthwise, its distributor, once it has obtained the necessary regulatory approvals.

After only one year, the AWT Convention now takes place in a context in which Amoéba has begun deploying its technology in R&D phase on the North American continent. This extremely rapid evolution is the proof of the strong commitment of our teams and our distributors, as well as of a real market demand.” said Fabrice Plasson, the President of the company.
